Crush Rush

So yes I am in the crushrush (Megaspeech due tomorrow, documentary due wednesday, mega assignment 2 being assigned today for gned, saint riccy upcoming, live show upcoming, still another promo due, exams 2-4 days after schools end so I need to be studing now, you get the picture.)

But my entire household seems to be in a similar boat. My mom especially, with her physio stuff, is feeling it, as she's doing her contract work again as well, and her new job on top of that. Her days are as packed as mine, and (sorta) comically, very similar in format to mine, with early mornings at the weeks start with many places to go and heavy workloads at the weekend.

Hers continues longer through April than mine though, April 20 will be a mutually appreciated day however, as she has her anniversary off at least. (And my slowly less and less enjoyable birthday. Get old and suffer crushrush/exam studying. What BS. At least there's the 24th..)

At least I made a warning post. Breathing room is hard to find.

I wanna take you for a ride (The tetralemma conclusion)

SO I am locked in to all 5 classes now and in the next 3 weeks have about 20 things due.
It's gonna be a wild rideeeeeeeeeeeeee

Because of the MAXIMUM WORKLOAD, PTE may get spotty, or if something eats my brains, get some posts of anguish.
TL;DR you're either getting zero or 100000 posts coming soon. ...So business as usual.

In actually related news, on that list of 20 things is Saint Riccy. Read more about that here.

Sorry in advance if every post after this one is crazy.

The end is April 20 (Final of the Final exams).

Internetwork Day 2015!

Yeah I know it's a holiday that is more of a self-appreciative self-centered yatta yatta made a thing that fell apart whatever it's still a day to me

Anyway, as per request, I'll tell you how double speech Tuesday went. The first speech was designed with a fully fleshed out intro and outro, with a thin middle left for me to ad lib. I choked on the intro, having a solid 5 second pause as my brain crashed. The middle I got lost in my ad lib and fumbled my words. My outro was a saving grace, but since the past 2/3 had fallen flat, doubtfully saved the mark. Luckily it is not one of the two major speeches, however I'm certain my mark will take a critical hit.
The second speech luckily, went a bit more smoothly. Nerves fried by then, I was able to make eye contact and my fully-fleshed scripts went without a hitch. The presentation itself was a bit messy due to powerpoint's own features not working (woo), ended up having to use my phone's timer to time the slides manually. But it seemed to at least go well, the mark will show reality soon enough.
Because of the immense stressing both before and the day of (I tried to not stress but its hard to get your mind to not focus on the one thing thats causing you ailment.) my shoulder, neck, and back all got kinda screwed up. They're already touchy thanks to the accident in September, but now I'm still healing from an annoying rippling pain throughout the region. (advils and massage tools have been used, but air pressure changes and stress have done a number. I'll live though dont worry)

As for the tetralemma, at this point it's still a 'I'm nuts lets do this'. If a mark comes in the next two days crashing a course, I may act fast and make a post, but else, there's the resolution: I do the MANLY MAN THING AND JUST DEAL WITH IT.

Btw i hate that mentality

ok cya next post

Double Speech Tuesday

I'm going to have to become an expert at breathing.

This tuesday, now dubbed 'Double Speech Tuesday', has...well you guessed it, 2 presentations on the same day. I will be presenting for over 8 minutes.
I'm both confrontational and inflexible when it comes to speaking, I apparently put on a good poker face but internally I have panic attacks.
So this Tuesday might be 2 panic attacks.

Long story short if my suffering brings you joy, you're welcome.

In other news, the Tetralemma has hit a funny point. Both classes are going better than expected, the science-y class has reeled back on the formula overload. At this point it's looking as if I may just stick it out for the rest of the year, making the whole Tetralemma thing moot.
(It did make for some good content for posts though..)
There'll probably be one more update, one of either 'I'm nuts we're doing errything' or 'I dropped one/both and regrets were not had'.

I also have a spring semester course this year, mandatory, will be first spring course I've ever taken.

I dunno what else ya PTErs wanna hear, so I'mma just post this picture.

Ancient

For giggles I decided to try to get to the bottom of my 4000 favourites list on youtube.

but theres the post for now ok bye

The green month

March 20 will be a turning point as it is the cut off for dropping classes. Hence, the Tetralemma will be "solved" by that date.
Stay tuned to PTE if that's something you're interested to see.

In other news my life has mostly consisted of trying to stay on top of assignments. I've done better than ever before with keeping up on projects and stuff, but whether that actually matters to my marks will be seen. I would say I do think about my homework near constantly, keeping an agenda with all my 'to-dos' on it. If Ric-Olzow crap worked this way, I would probably actually whip out projects at a pretty good consistant rate. Translating it to RO stuff which has no due date and no loss of marks/money is difficult though. I think the biggest hurdle too is the lack of financial gain consistantly, RO is currently stuck in a forever-a-hobby predicament.
I'd elaborate more but I have another blog for that. I'll advert it though, for I made a recent post on it.
So there's that if you need more to read I suppose, lol.

Tomorrow I'm also going a bit experimental with RFR, going to try to run a show without a script. I will still have a paper with guidelines on it, but my speaking spots have gone down to 6 spots from ~15 at one point. With so little talk time, spitballing should be easy. My time with the Improv club and my speeches have shown that I can talk with only a "-dash of words" to help, so tomorrow will be an experiment to see how well I can do.
Tune in tomorrow 2-4pm to see me succeed/flounder on air, lol.

Green is best colour. That is all.
