Zoo's in town!

Posting may end up kinda spotty cuz of Zoo. He's here with a special someone from now til early next month.
New banner next Week month Year We'll see when.
No laptop casualities expected this time as things will be dry this time. I am however still bogged down with school so it should be interesting...

Elegant Elocutionary DEATH

I am bad at public speaking.

Of all the classes I'm taking this semester, I'm struggling hardest in none other than public speaking. From communication failures to anxiety attacks, the class feels like I'm slowly making everyone hate me while also having heart palpitations. In a nutshell: If no improvement within the next little bit, it will be dropped.
No money back but I feel like when its wasting 300 or 600 bucks vs. anxiety attacks and heart problems, health > money.

In other news, I may have guests again like last year. Zoo plans to maybe come this month later on, my uncle and a certain someone plan to come next month. Dunno if my sister is coming out again but we'll see.

Business as usual.

Semester 2

I've had all my first classes so far, and the summary of this semester is: Group work central.
4 of my 5 classes have a group assignment for the first assignment, be it partner or more.

Compared to last semester of having like 3 group assignment for the entire semester, this spike is an unwelcome shock.
Not to mention a balancing act and a pain in the butt. Communication is hard.

At least it's not a blood test? Prefering one of those to school at this point.

The B-word

Yesterday was a busy day. The part I want to mention is how I had a blood test.
First of all, I hate blood tests. I'm hemophobic, as in when I see blood or imagine what's happening I black out.

Now I mention this partly because in my journey to combat the hemophobia, I was able to have blood taken from me and not black out. This is a first.
This test also had the most vials taken of all tests I've had so far.

The more important part is also how I had this test despite being completely healthy.
Now you're maybe confused as to why.

For nearly 18 years I've been underweight. After seeing a few doctors, one believes it could be a thyroid issue. With relatives having thyroid problems, I was prescribed a blood test. The doctor that last saw me believes it is merely an overactive metabolism (which has been the main consensus on whats the cause), however with the test if there is anything more it will be found.
Theoretically.

I will post a later post if something is a thing, but at least I mentioned this now.

No more blood related posts from me though, one annually is the limit.

Radio Free Riccy: The Returnening

As promised, I have got word of when Radio Free Riccy will be airing for this semester (January-April).
The new time is scheduled for Sundays, 2-4pm MST/MDT. I have no issue with this time slot, however there is still time for switching around, so I could be bumped yet.

This post isn't all just RFR though. (I mean c'mon I know everyone loves it but it's like Ric Olzow content: I gotta not post it constantly like a broken record)

Today was the first day back, and with one class, a very nice day back. The one class I had was 'Conflict and the social context', which so far seems quite interesting. As long as it's not like Microeconomics, I can roll. (Course started out straight forward and turned into an overlapping formulas class)
I have yet to start any course specific classes yet (Starting Monday). I expect those to drag me through the mud the worst. (Or "Innovation", its considered maths/science stream)
As I've found though this is speculation and reality will have the final say.

Das all for now, I'mma go work on a thing.

Back to Business!

I've returned from my Hometown Trip. Highlights include getting a Radio Free Riccy T-Shirt, Bashing friends in the new smash bros, seeing a certain someone, and stalemating in a Risky game.

Now that I'm back again in New City, I'm getting things set up for school again. Semester 2 approaches quickly!

Classes for me start up January 8th, With station shifts starting again January 12th. As soon as I know when Radio Free Riccy's time slot has been bumped out to, I shall post.
Once again, RFR and the station have been on hiatus for Christmas.

If I've failed to mention something: you know what to do.
