Fate

I recently switched out and fixed up my computer to try to get Sim City 4 running again.
It worked for a bit and I felt that addicting feeling coming back.

But then I crashed the game instead this time so long story short looks like I won't be having a Sim City Addiction part II ever.
(Probably a good thing.)

Oh yeah also my sister and her boyfriend were in town and it was a crazy and fun week. We climbed a mountain, explored towns, and partied.
They're back home now though so it's back to the usual grind now for us both.
At least I have Sim Ci-

this year i thought i'd celebrate two birds with one stone.

Sister in New City!

This time things aren't backwards, my sister is coming to New City to visit for a week. (With me here as well this time.)

As things have worked out, I'll be able to have a 3 day period of no work while she's here. This means being able to spend time with her and her bf while they are here.

Also I've been approved for my time off in late April/ early May. So I'll be absolutely free when a certain someone else is in town.

"Epic Longcoat" (AKA "The Whorejacket") Retires

I thought about making a smart,insightful PTE post to try to give a good reason to comment.
But then I remembered this is PTE and naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

So this jacket I had for the past 5 years. Or maybe 4. I had to retire it, zipper broke. Like it's stuck together and it's done. Sad too cuz I really liked using that jacket for work.
That jacket had been used all 3 years of high school, was there for Animanga-R, was used for the two hometown years. (After my other winter one broke and a certain someone made me stop using it...) This jacket saw the world. ...Of winter. It withstood blizzards and -50 and the washing machine about 100 times.
It got its nickname of Epic Longcoat because of its absurd length. It was legit a trench-coat, but used more legally. Some always classified it as a trench-coat. It was also known later on as the whorejacket, for when the zipper began to break, its initial loss of function was to slowly unzip from the top, exposing my chest constantly. (There was nothing of interest to see however. But the name was worth explaining and a conversation starter so there you go.)
So in short, just as the Tank Watch is now gone, (Band is broken indefinitely) we now see the passing of another great Ric-Olzow thing.

Unrelated: I got an awesome new jacket, no nickname for it yet though!

PTE Lore?

As you may or may not have noticed, PTE has a new page. This page is probably a little late to be posted, but I somehow didn't think of making one until recently. I highly doubt it will attract any new visitors, but at least it helps PTE make a little more sense. (?)

This brings me to PTE Lore. Figuring it helps as a beginners guide to PTE, I've compiled a list of terms that are PTE-specific. (Also if "lore" is incorrectly being used please mention so because I'd like to not look like a 12 year old.)
This list, similarly to the Riccy Rules, is open for debate, and for new terms to be added. Different than the RR however, These terms are also open for redefinition, if the new definition is more clearer or explicative of the term at hand than the previous one.
(And for  PTE's commentators, you're likely mentioned in it!)
