Spiffy new PTE!

...It's really just another template redesign. This one was well overdue, and due to a recent "Hacker" turning this place more purple than a bruise.
There is also plans of a counter.

In other news, I went to my first football game yesterday. Was pretty entertaining, I at least knew what was going on for the most part. Oh yeah, and our team won :P

Also its my sisters birthday today! :D

Finally, I'm planning an epic bike ride tomorrow. I'm gonna test out part of the route today to make sure I can even try to do it tomorrow, and to make sure what I'm planning on taking actually exists. (Google maps cough cough kinda unreliable cough cough)

My plan is to bike over 21km.

...Like a boss.

Confusion, Sleep, Poison.... and The Rules of Riccy

So it's been a wild week or so since my mom has left, responsibility has surprised me with its sudden extensiveness and thus 'settling in' has been less than easy.
Part of that wild week has been learning buses, which until now I've been doing wrong. (As expected) Because of which, I have decided to make a list of 'The Rules of Riccy' (something similar to The rules of the Internet - a survival guide that I must use to get through life here lol)

THE RULES OF RICCY: VERSION 1.01

1. Do not take advice from Your Sister.
2. Do NOT take advice from Your Sister.
3. Advice from your Uncle is always Trustworthy.
4. Calm. Yourself. Down.
5. Money is always tight. Except when its not. In your case, it always is.
6. WHAT'S GOIN ON?
7. The 16 doesn't run to your neighbourhood past 6pm. Get the Dart.
8. Your assignment is due tomorrow. WORK ON IT
9. Never (gonna) give (you) up.
10. Courtesy is Key. Stop being a douche.
11. ????

I know how you did it, and I admit it was my fault :P However, you did alter PTE and turn it into a frilly purple craphole. Therefore I will counter you, at a time and date unknown.

And fyi, purple makes a great chaotic looking background, so yes, I do like making purple backgrounds. Green > Purple in general though.

Stress Mess

Adjusting here has hit some turbulence.

Today a plan fell through. OR DID IT?
This Sunday I want to go see a certain friend whom I won't get to see much, since she's moving, but my sister is trying to force me to go to some family thing which I was never really directed invited, and I feel that if I don't go that some of my cousins and aunts will get all mad at me.
I have been sick these past 3 days.
I'm already feeling like moving here was a leap of faith.

And it's not even September.

Redesign, Rectify, Re-purpose?

As I've recently gotten flash, I've taken a stab at getting some work done, one of my projects involving a different blog idea I'm working on. While I was doing so, I took a moment to examine PTE. I realized this blog is currently purposeless, as it was mostly a 'hey guise im stuck in new city heres a post because im not dead and you get to know whats going on with my life'.

I also realized that if I am going to make a new picture each post, post quantity is going to have to slow down, as its hard to bring myself to work in flash and come up with new ideas and new pictures every 3 days. (I'm a perfectionist and Flash can be very frustrating.)

I'm still thinking about where I'm going next with this blog. I know that certain members of this blog won't be around Hometown for long, so I was thinking about keeping it as a 'whats goin on with ric' blog. I've pondered the idea of also doing comics, but I've always kept PTE a 'riccys personal blog of noobness', and the idea of trying to make it more public, not only could backfire profusely, but I'm not too comfortable with it either. If anything, I'd rather do that idea in a seperate blog, but after the Animanga-R blog, I'm not exactly feeling like jumping into extra blog projects atm. (Not counting TGB)

In other news, My sister is a dicknugget. More on that later.

So yeah I went this weekend to Jay's cabin and it was pretty awesome n stuff :P Got the last of my beach days in, doubt I'll be going to the beach any more this year. I've had my fill though, so I ain't even sad.

In other news, Now I'm back, I'll be continuing adjusting here, trying to see all my friends before they all go moving away (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE), and working on the new blog project between Enzo, Jay and I.

I'm running out of good images. After I get flash, I'mma thinking I'll start makin' my own images, featuring the Ric-Olzow Characters. More on that later.
